Welcome to Sandyland, a five-piece band from Utrecht, The Netherlands. Singing songs about life and love, they bear a resemblance with bands like Coldplay and The Shins, with a scoop of Californian surf music and a subtle hint of Euro-pop. A song they wrote called “STARS” was used under a widely-spread TV-commercial in Holland for the NTI. First official single "TIE ME DOWN“ was released in October 2015, and they just released new single "HEARTLESS”, and both appear on debut album “FIRST WAVE”. They won the Radio Veronica Breakthru Award in Juni 2016, and are recording two new singles as we speak.
